Champions League – Group F – 24/11/2009
Posted by: | CommentsChampions League – Group F
Rubin Kazan vs Dynamo Kyiv
Barcelona vs Inter Milan
Messi is not playing, is this headline of the night or is it just to say in advance that Barcelona might actually lose not only against Inter Milan but also against Real Madrid in El Clasico on Sunday.
Not only Messi, but also the Swedish super football player Zlatan Ibrahimovic is at risk in being part of the game at Camp Nou. Barcelona will do anything in their power to win at their home stadium because they have fallen behind in third place since they have only collected one point from their two games against the Russian Rubin Kazan.
Inter Milan are ready to make some critics shut their mouth and for Mourhino this is a great opportunity to live up to his “Special One” reputation.
It is highly the most anticipated game to watch and bet on Tuesday 24 November 2009. Our betting experts suggest that it is a either a draw like the first game they played or a close winning race for Inter Milan.
As for Dynamo Kyiv and Rubin Kazan, it is Ukraine versus Russia. Oh hang on, it is not political, but it is an interesting game to bet on. Dynamo Kiev are currently in the bottom of the group F but there is only 2 points between them and the group leader Inter Milan.
Our betting experts predict that it will be either a close race or the odds are that Rubin Kazan will win it.

Debrecen vs Liverpool
Fiorentina vs Lyon
As we said once before that this year the punters are not doing very well if they are using their free bets on Liverpool! Free bonus bets and Liverpool do not come in one sentence this year. I don’t know what the fans are doing, do you think they are voting Liverpool win or lose? They do hope they win but when it comes to their bets not sure if they are betting on winning odds.
Ok, let’s not be carried away; let’s have a preview of the Champions League Group E in general.
Well, if you want to know on which team to bet on, you can follow our predictions here. The Hungarian champions Debrecen were not so lucky in collecting points in Champions League so far, so the beginner’s luck was not in their favor. As for Liverpool, either they win this game or they can kiss goodbye to the Champions League title race. The team suffered much from absences of their key players this year due to injuries. The Reds are performing poorly in Premier League as well. They have to try everything to win against Debrecen.
Our betting verdict is that we think Benitez will bounce back and win the race on November 24 2009! Our bookmarkers listed in our review pages like Bwin and others all have their odds.
On the hand Fiorentina against Lyon, On the basis of who wants the points more, Fiorentina might just edge this one, considering the fact that they are also at home. But a lot will depend on how they deal with the loss of Mutu and Jovetic.

World Cup 2010 Controversy
Posted by: | CommentsFootball needs some name changing perhaps? I think I have a suggestion to it, Handball.
FIFA needs to set new rules obviously after the horrible unfair game that we witnessed yesterday.
Henry has admitted that he has fixed the ball with his hands but he has shamelessly celebrated the victory during the match.
We wonder if this is setup for financial reasons for the world cup 2010 in south Africa.
Ireland is so unhappy about the match, and they want a rematch.
So much bad luck for Ireland, as they seemed to be the better side to win and qualify for the world cup 2010.
Online Sports betting has witnessed some stock quotes excitement last night with the ups and downs of the bettings and the odds.
Let’s see what will happen next, there are so many matches to look forward to over the weekend.

Ronaldo returns to training
Posted by: | CommentsWith all the big fuss going on for the World Cup 2010 play-offs on Saturday and will happen on Wednesday, Portugal and Real Madrid were on an online fight over and over because of Ronaldo’s fitness.
Now, Ronaldo is back to training to make a come back to face Racing in La Liga Spain this Saturday.
Madrid have failed to prove great in tough games such as AC Milan, Seville, and soon Classico is listed for the coming weeks. Much is going on in the Club, we have heard that Raul Gonzales may retire at the end of the season, I am not quiet sure how would Los Blancos be without him, he is the captain of all the fans hearts, and definitely mine!
Much excitement is on the way in La Liga this weekend.

Now that the World Cup places have finally decided, we can now concentrate fully on domestic issues without interruption! The Premier League returns this weekend and the big four are all in action, writes Rob Treloar…
Of course, Liverpool have been having a torrid time of late, winning only one of their last nine matches. Surely even the mercurial Rafa ‘Its never my fault’ Benitez cannot withstand many more defeats? Manchester City are the visitors at Anfield this weekend and victory for Sparky’s Sky Blues could well see Rafa out of a job. The fact of the matter is that Man City are the team most likely to take Liverpool’s place in the top four. Player for player Manchester City have a far superior squad to Liverpool and although the Reds have two of the world’s finest performers in Gerrard and Torres, it may not be enough to beat the Blues. Much has been made of the money Mark Hughes has spent, but little is mentioned about the money Benitez has wasted. Rafa has spent over £228 million in his time at Anfield, signing 76 players, of which almost half have since left the club.
This weekend’s fixture is of huge importance to Liverpool, a win might just get their season back on track but a draw or a defeat will see the vultures circling above Rafa. In truth, Manchester City have hit a lull after their terrific start to the season but Sparky will see this fixture as an ideal opportunity to reignite their assault on the top four. Despite their abysmal record, Liverpool are still favourites to win the match with bwin, priced at 17/20, while City are 3/1 to record an away win, with the draw at 12/5.
If City are to get a result at Anfield the goals are likely to come from the front pairing of Carlos Tevez and Emmanuel Adebayor. Tevez is 13/5 to score at any time during the match, while Adebayor is priced at 17/10.

Elsewhere in the Premiership entertain Mick McCarthy’s Wolves at Stamford Bridge. The Blues will be aiming to extend their lead at the top of the table and given Chelsea’s current form, Wolves could well have their work cut out. Such is Chelsea’s home form, that Wolves are priced at a whopping 14/1 to win at Stamford Bridge, while Chelsea are 3/20 for a home win. There is even value in the draw if you think Wolves can earn a point, with bwin the draw is priced at 23/4. Chelsea’s front two have been in scintillating form. Drogba and Anelka will no doubt make life very difficult for the Wolves defence and Drogba is priced at 3/5 to score at any time, while Anelka is 9/10.
Arsenal travel to Sunderland where they are 11/20 favourites to beat Steve Bruce’s Black Cats who are 26/5 for the home win. The draw is priced at 13/5. And Manchester United face Everton, in what is traditionally a tricky fixture for the Red Devils. Fergie’s side are still strong favourites at 7/20 though, with 7/2 being offered on the draw and 15/2 on an Everton win.
League One Weekend
Posted by: | CommentsLeague One fixtures this weekend are at their best look.
Starting from League One’s bottom table club Wycombe that will make a trip to Huddersfield
As for the League One’s top club Leeds United will not play this weekend because a lot of their players are called up for internationals, therefore their trip to Swindon will be rescheduled
The Terriers wants to maintain their top push and the odds against a Wycombe side are pretty high.
On the other hand, there is also the second versus third as both Charlton and MK Dons will both be hoping to reduce the seven-point gap between themselves and the top when they clash at The Valley.
