Live Bundesliga transfers – Neuer moves to Bayern Munich!

German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has completed his move to Bayern Munich from Schalke 04. Former Schalke shot stopper has completed medical on Wednesday and penned a five-year-deal with Bavarian giants after returning from his international duty with German national team in Azerbaijan.

In order to get the fantastic goalkeeper, Bayern had to battle Premier League champions Manchester United for Neuer’s signature. 26-year-old said he has never considered to move away from Bundesliga: “I feel this is the right move because I am a Germany goalkeeper and Bayern Munich is the best club in Germany. I’m glad that everything is now behind me. I am looking forward to this challenge, the first training sessions and training camps.”

Neuer also stated he is looking forward to the new challenge of playing for the greatest club in Germany and one of the biggest in Europe: “I know definitely what I want. I look forward to these five years. I know Munich and I think I will feel comfortable here. I know this is not normal for me, this is all new territory. But I look forward to it.”.
