Live Newcastle vs Arsenal betting odds, tips, result and reviews 05-02-2011
ByArsenal had a half-time lead 4:0 against Newcastle, but team from St. James Park made a shocking comeback to equalize just near the final whistle. Saha scored four goals in Everton win against Blackpool, while Tevez scored hat-trick for Manchester City clean sheet win over West Bromwich Albions. Manchester United got their first defeat in this championship.
This weekend began totally and unexpectedly crazy in Premier League. Many interesting betting odds that seemed impossible came true. Interesting fact is that on seven matches on Saturday teams have scored 38 goals i.e. 5.4 per match.
Perhaps the most interesting match was the one that Arsenal played at St. James Park against Newcastle United. After Gunners 4:0 halftime lead, nobody expected that match could end as a draw. That is the match that Arsene Wenger would probably like to forget as soon as possible. Perhaps mostly thanks to Arsenal midfielder Abu Diaby who earned the red card early in the second half. The match has begun incredibly as it has finished. Walcott scored in 43 second of the match. It was a shock for home crowd which still hasn’t recovered from transfer of probably best Newcastle player this season Andy Carroll to Liverpool on Monday. Djourou scored second goal only 2 minutes later. In 10 minute on the score board was 3:0 thanks to Robin van Persie. Same player scored the goal in 26 minute for 4:0. That was the shock for home crowd that was disappointedly beginning to leave the stadium. Nobody believed their team could equalize. For those who stayed, Newcastle players repaid with incredible come back. First, Barton scored from penalty in 69 minute. Six minutes later Best gave the second goal. In 83 minute Barton scored from the penalty for the second time. Then in 88 minute, Arsenal was shocked after wonderful and absolutely incredible 25 meter long volley kick by Tiote. Newcastle could make complete twist if only Kevin Nolan’s shot in added time would have been just a little bit more precise. With this draw Arsenal missed a chance to use a chance to get close to Manchester United who lost to Wolverhampton unexpectedly.
