Chelsea and Liverpool won their matches, so they are at the next stage of FA CUP.
Reds had hard game with Stoke City. Guests played well and they answered Suarez goal with ex-Liverpool player`s score. Crouch made the draw in the first half. After this hosts tried to make their best, and Downing scored in the starting minutes of the second half. So this was the last goal of this match. Liverpool cleared everything.
Chelsea had match with Leicester and there was only one favorite. After Champions League triumph, Di Matteo team has very good performance. Fernando Torres scored in this game, after huge disspointed season. After 2-0 winning first half, Torres scored two times in second one and made everything clear. Leicester itself tried to battle and answered with 2 goals, but this was not enough. The last point for this game was Raul Meirles goal on the extra minutes.
Wolves hosted match against Manchester United in Premier League. This was too interesting and dramatic game, but we saw only one team. Red Devils scored 5 times and got no answer from hosts. Mexican striker Javier Hernandez scored double. After this game, Man UTD are on the first place.

Di Matteo and Drogba
There were few chances that Chelsea could beat Napoli and go in the next round, but London Team made this impact and they won 4-1 in extra time.
There was really dramatic match at Stamford Bridge. Two great teams, and either had good chances to go into the next round.
Chelsea had big crisis in near past, but After Villas Boas exit, they won 3 matches in line. This match was very hard, and “Blues” won with its experience. Di Matteo had only Senior player s in the starting lineup. So Win of Chelsea was collective performance of the team.
Napoli had really good opportunities, performance, players, but they had no enough experience to defeat this barrier. Cavani, Inler as every player were too tired so Italians couldn`t do anything with the result.
Chelsea went into the next round after 3-1 down on aggregate. Nobody except Chelsea fans thought that after defeat in Naples, English team could be winner.

Drogba
There were too interesting Saturday matches. Chelsea hosted Stoke City, and Di Nattale`s boys hold one more win.
After the deep crisis, London team made some steps to progress, and won 2 games in line. Guests lost Fowler in the first half because of the red card. After this Stoke played with 10 players, and that was main reason of lose. After the first half, which ended 0-0, “Blues” played more attacking style, so on the 69 minutes Drogba scored first and last goal of this match.
That was the finishing result for this game, so Chelsea got more 3 points.
After the winning games from Blackburn and Bolton, they secured places in the Premier League. So their rivals, QPR and Wolves are in the bad situation. Queens Park Rangers played well and had chances to save draw, but Klasnic scored on the 86 minutes and Bolton won 2-1.
Blackburn with Hoilett double goals got easy 3 points from Wolves. After the first half 0-1, Guests had good chances to score again and Hoilett used this.
It was really bad day for Harry Radknap and Daglish, both of these managers teams lost their matches. Tottenham lost with Everton. It was the third loosing match for Spurs in the last 3 games. Because of this Arsenal has good chances to get elite place.
Bendtner made Liverpool fans very sad after the goal. Bendtner and The Black Cats used all possibilities to win this game, so they did it. After Carling Cup, Merseyside team lost their motivation.
Chelsea`s another test against Stoke City

After the exit of Villas Boas, Chelsea has new head coach, Roberto Di Mateo. Italian manager has successfully passed the test, London Club won their first match with Di Mateo against Birmingham on FA CUP. The match was interesting and “Blues” won 0-2.
After 2008 years Stoke City didn’t won match with Chelsea. They lost five matches and drawn two from seven games. Stoke has no good stats with other Premier League leaders, they lost all of matches against English Giant Clubs.
Di Mateo praised Fernando Torres with his interview. He told that Spanish footballer is the best striker, so he will play with the best performance soon.
This match has one favorite and it is London Club, they won last home match 3-0 against Bolton. So Stoke will have hard lesson at the Stamford Bridge.
First Test for Chelsea after Villas-Boas exit

Drogba
It is not news that Chelsea has big problems, but after Villas Boas exit, London team should make some progressive steps.
Today, Chelsea will visit ST.Andrew Stadium, where Birmingham will host. Blue Grand has no more chances to get positive season in Premier League, so FA CUP is the good way to the title.
After Villas Boas exit, the head coach will be Roberto Di Matteo, who should make some changes in the team strategy.
Chelsea won 2 games from the last 3 on St. Andrew stadium. Last loosing match was in this season.
Napoli`s lesson for Chelsea

Napoli-Chelsea
Champions League matches are always interesting, but Napoli-Chelsea had more than normal interest. Here was Italian team, which played fast, great football, like Barcelona. There were some ideas that Napoli would lost style in 2012 and that was just several games. But yesterday they showed that they are near of success.
After the disappointing matches of Chelsea in Premier League and FA Cup, everything was clear. This team has big crisis and yesterday it was one of the loosing match series. Napoli just ruined Chelsea without any chances.
First goal came after the mistake of Napoli`s Captain Fabio Cannavaro. Spanish player Juan Mata realized good moment and the score was 0-1, but it was not consolation for Chelsea. Napoli plays great football and they can destroy any team with this style. So they started it from Chelsea. First goal was from Lavezzi, than scored Cavani. In the second half, Napoli had more moments but scored only once. Cavani`s assist and Lavezzi scored again. Double from Argeninian was last goal in this match and teams finished with 3-1.

Arsene Wenger closed several last minute deals as Arsenal were left out of quality midfielders following the departures with Cesc Fabregas who joined Barcelona and Samir Nasri who joined Manchester City. Injured and suspended players are the second big problem that the Gunners manager is facing with, especially in defensive line. Mikel Arteta expressed desire to leave Goodison Park and was sold to the Gunners for a reported 10 million pounds fee. Beside Arteta, Wenger sealed deals with three more players. The 31-year-old Israeli international Yossi Benayoun signed a season long loan deal with Arsenal. Defender Andre Santos joined the London club from Turkish champions Fenerbahce for an undisclosed fee. Along with Santos, German defender Mertesacker should fill in the voids in Arsenal’s defense. Expirienced German should add much needed experience to the Gunners defense.
Nicklas Bendtner agreed to join Sunderland on loan until the end of the season.

Alan Hutton and Jermaine Jenas left the Tottenham and moved to Aston Villa. Hutton signed four year deal, while Jenas joined Villa on loan. Queens Park Rangers signed Shaun Wright-Phillips from Manchester City.

Live Premier League News – Drogba discharged from hospital!

After medical it was determined the Didier Drogba had a brain concussion of medium intensity. In one air matchup Norwich goalkeeper John Ruddy knocked down Drogba unintentionally and Chelsea attacker was unconsciously lying on the ground afterwards. Norwich players have immediately called Chelsea’s medical team to intervene. Chelsea doctors have been on the field for 10 minutes before Drogba was brought out with bloody face, unconscious and with an oxygen mask on his face. He was immediately hospitalized and after the checkup the injury is not that heavy as it looked like at first.
London club press release said that Didier Drogba will be discharged from hospital after the all checkups are completed. He had a medium brain concussion and Chelsea medical team will continue to monitor player’s condition during the next couple of days.
Whole Chelsea team was disrupted with Drogba’s injury. Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas have said that from bench fall looked pretty bad pointing out that it was physical contact that happens in football. Villas-Boas has also praised fast reaction by all players on the field who have immediately called for help from medical team to help unconscious Drogba.
Chelsea was victorious 3-1 on their Premier League home opener against Norwich City thanks to goals by Bosingwa, Lampard and Mata who scored on his debut.
