Live Chelsea vs Manchester United betting odds, tips and preview 01-03-2011
Posted by: | CommentsOn the Tuesday night, Chelsea welcomes Manchester United at the Stamford Bridge in postponed match of Premier League Round 18.

Chelsea’s striker, Fernando Torres, is still adapting to the Chelsea’s style of play. He says that he strongly believes that the Blues have a chance to defeat Manchester United. If they do, they will be much closer to the Champions League spot and their slim chances of coming back to the title challenge will suddenly grow. Torres said he hopes that Manchester defensive line will be the strongest they have, with Vidic and Ferdinand, and that playing against such great players inspires him to give more efforts and makes him more challenging.
Manchester United has five points lead in front of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table and they are expected to break the bad run as they have not won in the league against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge since April 2002. However, in their last meeting at the Old Trafford, Manchester secured 3:1 win.
Chelsea have failed to score in their last two Premier League matches against Fulham and Liverpool, while Manchester United’s 4:0 victory against Wigan was the first time this season they have won by more than one goal away from home in the league.
Expect no more than two to three goals and betting on Manchester United could get you the prize. Bet on Chelsea only if you are a Chelsea fan.

Arsenal had a half-time lead 4:0 against Newcastle, but team from St. James Park made a shocking comeback to equalize just near the final whistle. After losing 2:1 Stoke City made to win Sunderland at home. Saha scored four goals in Everton win against Blackpool, while Tevez scored hat-trick for Manchester City clean sheet win over West Bromwich Albions. Manchester United got their first defeat in this championship.
This weekend began totally and unexpectedly crazy in Premier League. Many interesting betting odds that seemed impossible came true. Interesting fact is that on seven matches on Saturday teams have scored 38 goals i.e. 5.4 per match.
Eight goals were scored in match Everton vs Blackpool, and half of those were scored by Saha. First of he scored in 20 minute and the last one in 84. After Saha’s first goal Baptiste brought equalizer near the end of the first half. Just as second half begun, Saha scored in 47 for 2:1 Everton lead. In just two minutes Blackpool turned the match in their own advantage. Puncheon scored another equalizer in 62 minute and Adam in 64 for Blackpool lead 3:2. In last 15 minutes Saha scored in 76 and 84 minute and in 80 Beckford brought the lead.
On Saturday Carlos Tevez was in the scoring mood. He scored three goals in Manchester City win over West Bromwich Albions, twice from penalty. This was first Manchester City win after three matches.
Drama was seen on White Hart Lane where Tottenham made to grab all three points against Bolton in the last moments of the match thanks to substitute Niko Kranjcar’s goal. Van der Vaart scored early in 6 minute from the penalty kick. Sturridge equalized in 55, and Kranjcar who was brought into the game in 78, took a chance in the added time for final score 2:1 for Tottenham.
Sunderland had a two times lead against Stoke, but thanks to defender Robert Huth who scored twice in last seven minutes, they took the whole three points from this match and a bunch of self-confidence and peaceful thinking in the remaining matches. German international with these two goals became the most efficient defender in Premier League. He scored six goals and Manchester United’s captain Nemanja Vidic scored four.
Read about Manchester’s loss to Wolverhampton in a separate article.
We can expect many goals in the remaining matches. Most intense and interesting should be in a match at the Stamford Bridge where Chelsea meets Liverpool with recently signed Fernando Torres from team from Anfield.

Live Premier League football betting odds, tips and previews – Round 26 – 05-02-2011
Posted by: | CommentsHot football weekend in English Premier League is coming. Chelsea welcomes Liverpool and that is the most anticipated match this weekend. Manchester United will visit last placed Wolverhampton. Manchester City plays third match in a row against one of the clubs from Birmingham, but this time at home, while Arsenal goes to St. James Park. West Ham United plays at home interesting match against survival rivals Birmingham City.
Whole England was shaken by Torresomania. When Spanish striker transferred from Liverpool to Chelsea, everyone asked if he is going to play against his yesterday club on Sunday. According to Carlo Ancelotti, Torres and English press there are big chances he will play. Liverpool has its own aces in new strikers Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll (injured) and a good run of results lately with clean sheet in last three matches. Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish expects new players will refresh the squad that earned so much self-confidence during the last few matches. With Raul Meireles in form and Jamie Carragher possible comeback to defensive line, Liverpool makes worthy opponent for last year Premier League champions. If we can make any prediction Chelsea would be a favorite with just a bit more odds for win, but in matches like this one it is hard to predict the outcome. Last match in November won Liverpool 2:0. Let’s put it like this, by the odds and stats Chelsea is a favorite, but by the hunch Liverpool is the candidate for three points.
By our opinion second most interesting match this weekend is duel between West Ham United and Birmingham City in London. West Ham lost in Carling Cup two leg semi-finals to Birmingham and when talking about some doubts it can be taken as a fact that could decide winner. However, in that Carlin Cup semi’s West Ham won first match at home 2:1 with a man down through the most of the second half. Beside, motive for survival should be enough for both teams to show their best football. West Ham has better odds and I’d say that from Monday they could finally get out of relegation zone and put Birmingham City in it.
Leading three will play some interesting matches. Usually match between first and last team in league is a boring and predictable one, but not in English Premier League. Be certain that Wolverhampton will do all they can to win leaders Manchester United. Alex Ferguson team is in a good form and Wolves are pretty much out of luck lately (they lost a game in last minute to Bolton in last round) but that doesn’t have to mean much of a thing. Manchester United doesn’t have a custom of losing to Wolves during the last couple years, and it looks like this match will be interesting, but a certain win for United. Away team has much better odds for win and our tip is on them with three to four goals on a match. As for rest of the matches, we will see if Manchester City will finally make a win after three matches without triumph. Mancini stated they need to work harder and to show better approach to each match. We believe they will win respectively. Bet on Manchester City. Arsenal goes to Newcastle which lost the main striking force by selling Andy Carroll to Liverpool on Monday. Arsene Wenger’s team should make a certain win.

Torres, Johnson and Reina leave Liverpool
Posted by: | CommentsThree Liverpool’s first team players Fernando Torres, Glen Johnson and Pepe Reina supposedly were yesterday in the Club where they talked to the leaders and announced that they are done with bad results and that they want to leave the club.
This information was published by English newspaper Daily Mail. They said that they had their sources at the club. The paper claims that the main reason for dissatisfaction of these three players is manager Roy Hodgson, who wants to stay at Liverpool at any cost just to avoid getting fired in his remarkable career.
It is also stated that Torres was especially disappointed because he didn’t score a goal in six games, which is his worst score since he’s been at Liverpool. This Spaniard regrets the decision that he made during the summer. He decided to stay at the club and Reina has similar regrets.
As for Johnson, he will present his opinion after the match with Blackburn if Liverpool shows a bad result once again.
